KATALIST: Why do you train?

Deya: I train for my soul. I train to break the bondages within me. I want to go deeper within, without the emotional noise that comfort creates. When you are exhausted and depleted, you hear a voice that tells you—very honestly—who you are, what you want, what hurts you, and what you need to change. Isn't that the best life hack there is? That's why I include a lot of text on my capsule pieces. The messaging comes from something real—something deep.

KATALIST: That's powerful.

Deya: You need to know who your enemy within is. Who are you standing against? That's essential if you want an edge. Perseverance strengthens when it becomes a form of rebellion—against something you can no longer tolerate within yourself.

Commitment is a powerful skill. To test any strategy, you need patience and consistency. Constantly changing your mind creates stress and distraction. That's also the idea behind the uniform. Life is already complex enough—simplify what you wear. It's not what matters most anyway.

There are enough variables that change naturally. One thing should remain constant: your gear. It should remind you that this is not about trends or empty promises. You stay focused on commitment and execution. That's where your energy and resources belong.

KATALIST: So the uniform helps you focus on the process. It's a statement—but mainly to yourself.

Deya: Exactly. That's why it's a uniform. A uniform is something you wear when you perform a specific role, so your focus stays on the task. Take a doctor—without a uniform, the attention shifts to the wrong things. The doctor isn't there to be looked at. It's also protective. It creates clarity—roles, hierarchies, expectations.

There's a psychological aspect too. In any serious environment, your appearance signals intent. If you are serious about your training, your work, your goals—everything about you reflects that. But that has to come from you first.

If you expect the brand to give you that identity, it will never be enough. The KATALIST is inside you. It has to be. But if you already carry that mindset, then the brand becomes a signal: "I am a catalyst—for myself and for others. I remain consistent. My goal stays the same. My path stays the same. What changes is my progress."

That's how I measure success. Growth—not outcomes, not winning. Because outcomes are not fully in your control. The process is. The strategy is. That's it. Everything else is irrelevant.

This is how I reduce complexity. I remove what I don't need. I don't need endless choices or distractions. What I need is clarity: I wake up, and I execute.

KATALIST: So if I wake up and think, "I'm training today, I need something," I go to KATALIST—and I know it supports the work.

On Consistency Over Years

Deya: Consistency creates you. You can't compare someone who has been consistent for a week with someone who has mastered a process over years—and you shouldn't. Everyone moves at their own pace. Ideally, you learn to understand what is required at each stage.

I've been in this for about four years. The real challenge now is different. I've done enough to feel like I "know enough"—and that mindset becomes the limitation. Because real progress at this stage becomes slower, more intentional, more precise. The discipline required increases.

Waking up and training every day—truly every day—is not simple. You need a system and a lifestyle that leave no room for negotiation. It has to become a rule. And if you break it, there's a consequence: you don't get to expect peak performance.

This is about keeping promises to yourself. No one is coming to ask why you didn't do the work. You will see it—in your results, in your performance, in your energy. You are both the master and the servant of your goal. Because it's your goal. You fund it. You carry it. Every step is yours.

There is no external accountability. That's something you have to build within yourself. And through that, you realize: you can't be accountable for everything. You have to set goals that are realistic. You need discipline—but also clarity and restraint.

This is where honesty develops. Boundaries develop. You learn what you are truly willing to invest—and what it's worth to you. Over time, you realize the real reward is who you are becoming.

At first, the process exposes you—complaining, arrogance, stubbornness, frustration. That's the first layer. Over time, that fades. It gets replaced by humility, patience, respect. That's when it becomes meaningful. That's when you understand: the pursuit itself has transformed you.
